OLD WORLD MEETS
HIGH TECH
Today at ProE Bioenergie, this is done under modern and more efficient conditions through pyrolysis, i.e. gasification in an oxygen-poor environment. This means that the calorific value of our material is largely preserved, and the CO2 that was previously absorbed by the plant can be bound in the coal in the long term. A valuable raw material is created, from which soils and animals benefit in agriculture, and also opens up numerous possible uses, for example in construction and energy generation. In most applications, even with negative CO2 footprint, because the carbon dioxide is not released.
